Michael Warren Dodson, 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 9, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Mike was born on February 7, 1951, in Noblesville, Indiana, son of Ernest E. and Katherine (Cox) Dodson. Mike worked for various heating and air conditioning companies as a Heating and Air Conditioning repairman.

He loved what he did for a living but he also enjoyed playing guitar, playing Bingo and spending time at the casino’s.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson Steven Frost; siblings: Deloris, Dave, Kenny, Jimmy, Ernie, Linda, Martha, Mary, Sandy, Jerry, and Barb.

He is survived by his daughter Lisa Ellis; son Michael Dodson Junior; grandchildren: Candice Ellis, John Ellis, Sierra Ellis, Anthony Mequida, Frank Ellis, Michael Dodson III, Kaila Dodson, Chaise Dodson, and Memphis Dodson; 17 great-grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be a French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 1pm – 3pm. Services will be at the funeral home, on Saturday, at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. Visit www.frenchfuneralhome.com to light a candle in his memory.
