John Albert Kelley, 86, of Terre Haute, died Saturday, July 10, 2021 in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, August 11, 1934 to Albert D. and Mary Finkle Kelley.

John graduated from Garfield High School in 1953, and went to work for Wabash Fibre Box Company for 42 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Martha J. Williams Kelley, two sons; Dean Michael Kelley (April Johnson) and John William Kelley, three grandchildren; Nicole Kelley Lawrence (Gary), Kimberly Kelley, and Christopher Kelley (Kayla), three great grandchildren; Landon Kelley, Holden Lawrence, and Brinlea Lawrence, sister-in-law Wilma Kelley, niece Susan Kelley Hawk, nephews Gene Kelley (Beverly) and Larry Kelley (Kelley).

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dennis Brian Kelley, brother, Earl W. Kelley, and sisters; Mary Lou and Marjorie Sue Kelley.

Per John’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services. The family wishes to thank Heart to Heart Hospice nurses for their comfort and care.
