Freda Joan Miller, 84, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 in her residence. She was born May 28, 1937 in Vigo County to James Russell Lowe and Mary Juanita Hargett Lowe.

Survivors include her children, Scott Miller and Sherri Unger (David); brother, Gregory Lowe; sisters, Shirley Zablo (Carl) and Linda Lowe both of Terre Haute; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Lowe and Russell (Kurt) Lowe; and sister, Delores Gulla.

Joan graduated from Staunton High School in 1955. She retired from Columbia House. Joan was a good mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 17, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mark Grayless officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday. IN lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
