Sharon Lynn Anderson passed away on December 26, 2021. She was born on September 29, 1948 in Tokyo, Japan to Ray Anderson and Helen Anderson. After her father retired from the Military they settled in Clay County where she attended school at Brazil High School , class of 1966. She attended Indiana University before moving to California. Where she worked and had her very loved Daughter, Erin. Later moving back to Brazil, IN she worked, was active with Girl Scouts, and enjoyed attending Erin’s sporting events. Later she continued her education at Indiana State University, where she was awarded scholarships, including the Pfenning Award for English. Through ISU she was selected to teach English at Baiko Jo Gakuin University in Japan. Sharon had also thaught English at the men and women’s prison’s, which was very rewarding to her, helping with their educations. She served as a School Board Member for Clay Community Schools during the time of the schools consolidation which is now Northview and Clay City High. (Kellett) She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and being a loving Mother, Sister and Aunt. She enjoyed working with flowers, reading, being with family and spending time with her cats, that she loved.

She is proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her Daughter Erin Connelly and Grandson Daniel. She is also survived by her Sisters, Shirley Anderson, Dorothy (Sissy) Stearley and husband Scott. Her brothers Bill Anderson and wife Dawn, Gary Anderson and wife Marisol. She leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that she loved. Sharon’s request was to have a private family Memorial.
