Rosemarie “Rose” Cummins, 54, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep to go home to be with her beloved son Deric.  Rose was born December 12, 1967, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late James “Jim” Cummins and Marybelle Cummins Underwood.  She was preceded in death by her only son Deric Cummins Dewey that went home before her, 1 years and 5 days prior.  All of her grandparents; several family members that went home before her and she missed them all very much.  Rose is survived by her baby sister/best friend Jamie Markle and favorite brother-in-law Paul Markle.  Two special nieces Loretta Markle and Elizabeth Markle; three favorite great nephews that she loved very much, Archer, William, and Tucker, that miss Aunt Rose and Deric a lot; her special aunt Wanda Emory; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Rose had several best friends that she loved very much, Kim, Justin, Tesha, D, and many more.  Rose was a loving person and a hard ass at the same time.  She loved Mountain Dew, spending time with her family, watching movies with her loving niece Loretta that lived with her after Deric passed away, until she went home.  Rose will be sadly missed by all of us.  Until we meet again our beautiful angel.  Graveside services are scheduled on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1:00p.m. in Grandview Cemetery.  A celebration of life will follow at American Legion Post 346 on Wabash.  In honor of Rose, please wear something tie-dye or florescent colors that she loved very much.  A covered dish meal will follow after services at the Legion.
