Stanley Eugene Joy, 75 of Terre Haue, passed away on Tuesday, April19, 2022 in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haue on April 6, 1947 to James B. Joy and Lucy Virginia Hedden Joy.

Stanley is survived by two sons, William Joy and Stanley Joy, Jr., as well as five daughters; Page Joy, Peggy Fayard, Paula Joy, Shirley Thomas, and Carol Joy. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Levi Durham, Mark Joy, Matthew Johnson, Michael Johnson, Eli Ybarra, Zeke Ybarra, William “Willie” Joy Jr., Sean Friebel, Piper Joy, Rowan Joy, Josie Fayard, Jackson Fayard, Noah Kempinger, and Joseph Kempinger, as well as his siblings; Sarah Joy, Exie Dickerson, Edward “Bad Boy” Joy, Ronnie Joy, Connie Woods, Mary Evans, and Melody Joy Ordway. He was preceded in death by one son James Joy, and his siblings; Linda Sarson Anderson, Robert Joy, Ike McCalister, and Delbert Joy.

Graveside services will be held at Dunlap Cemetery on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 1:30 PM, with burial to follow in the cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haue, IN.
