The Clay City Eels Softball Team plays in the State Championship for the first time in program history. The game was delayed by a couple hours due to rain.

Clay City had the lead heading into the 6th inning. A Northfield Solo HR tied it, and then the same player for Northfield had a 2 Run-HR in the 7th to take the lead.

Clay City fell, 3-1, to Northfield. Great season Lady Eels!
