Four Firefighters Hurt Battling West Union House Fire

WEST UNION, Ill.  – Four firefighters were hurt while battling a house fire in West Union, Illinois.

The fire started just before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.

A total of four firefighters were hurt when a porch collapsed.

The other two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

One of the injured firefighters was airlifted, another was taken by ambulance.

Nobody was in the home when the fire started.

The cause has not been determined.
