VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A Brazil man was in Vigo County Court Thursday where he pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct as part of a plea deal.

20-year-old Dylan Jackson was originally charged with aggravated battery in connection with the shooting of 24-year-old Dwayne Washington Jr. in February last year.

Police said that the shooting was part of a deal gone bad.

Both Jackson and Washington suffered gunshot wounds.

In November, a jury found Washington not guilty of robbery and theft of a firearm during the two-day trial.

Jackson was sentenced to 80 days on home detention but has already served that amount of time.
