Two Men Tell Police That They Were Injured When They Fought Off Intruder

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Thursday morning around 4:45 A.M., Terre Haute City Police were called to the 200 block of North 23rd Street regarding the report of a stabbing.

Officers found one male with a head injury and another with an injury to his abdomen.

The two victims informed officers that they had confronted a white male who had entered their residence while armed and that they had fought with suspect and after striking him in the head.

The intruder reportedly fled the area in a black Dodge truck.

Both males were treated at a local hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Officers found one victim that had been stabbed in the head and another that had been stabbed in the chest.
