TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Vigo County man was arrested Friday after leading Terre Haute Police on a chase.
A THPD officer attempted to stop 49 year old Thomas Mason near North 23rd Street and Wilson Street. Mason didn’t stop until he lost control and crashed into a ditch at Davis Avenue and Crow Street.
Mason was arrested for Operating a Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator, Criminal Recklessness, Auto Theft, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Reckless Driving.
A Terre Haute Police car was damaged during the chase when went off the road near the intersection of Kyle Ave. and Oriel St.
Police expect to release more information early next week.
