INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – More than 6.5 million pounds of raw beef products are being recalled because they many have been contaminated with salmonella.

There have been 57 illnesses reported in 16 states in connection with the beef.

We do not know if any of those illnesses reported were in Indiana.

The JBS Tolleson products were packaged on various dates between July 26, 2018 and September 7, 2018 and distributed to retail locations nationwide.

If you have any of the recalled products you are being urged to throw them out.
