PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Police in Parke County report that scammers posing as Parke County Deputies are calling and soliciting money in lieu of being arrested.

Officers remind you that they never solicit money for this purpose and we will not contact you over the phone to serve arrest warrants or civil papers.

They remind you that you should not give out any personal information to anyone over the telephone and to report these calls to The Parke County Sheriff’s Department.
