Police Continue To Investigate Six Year Old Murder Case

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – This week will mark the sixth year anniversary of the murder of 85-year-old Lowell Badger. The retired farmer was found dead in his rural Sullivan County home, on December 8th, 2012.

Several items were stolen his home including a gray colored safe, manufactured by the John D. Brush Company and a Sony Bravia flat screen television.

Since Badger’s death, investigators with the Indiana State Police and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office have been working to make an arrest.

Investigators have followed up on hundreds of tips, conducted hundreds of interviews, and have searched dozens of properties in Sullivan County and the two-state area.

Police believe someone in the area has credible information that can bring closure to this case.

A reward of approximately $30,000 has been established and available for person (s) who provide credible information leading to the conviction of those responsible for this murder.
