AG Curtis Hill Wants More Money For His Office

INDIANAPOLIS  — Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill wants lawmakers to increase his budget by about $5 million.

Hill has been criticized by some lawmakers for spending $300,000 on office renovations and a van with his name emblazoned on the side.

Hill did not appear in person to request the increase from the State Budget Committee, which is gathering input for a new two-year budget.

He instead he sent two deputies, though other top officeholders appeared in person to make their own requests.
