James Lloyd Bartley, 87, of Reelsville passed away Wednesday evening in his residence. He was born in Lee County, VA on May 8, 1932 to Edgar and Lillie (Wade) Bartley. Lloyd was a retired farmer.

Lloyd was a 1950 graduate of Reelsville High School. On April 14, 1951, he married Sue Stallcop and together they enjoyed nearly 69 years together. He was owner and broker for Lakeside Real Estate and retired in 2011. Lloyd loved to go fishing and mowing his lawn. He was an avid I.U. basketball fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Lillie Bartley; and six brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sue Bartley of Reelsville, their children, Kathy White and husband, Mike of Foley, AL;, Gary Bartley and wife, Pam of Sullivan, IN and Karen DeBoulle and husband, Mike of Indianapolis; and 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 8 brothers and sisters.
