Virginia Rose (Reedy) McMillin, 88, of Brazil passed away at Cloverleaf Healthcare on March 24, 2020.

She was born on July 15, 1931 in Terre Haute to Clarence Reedy and Hazel (Minniear) Reedy Parse. Virginia married Donald L. McMillin on October 7, 1950. Virginia was a stay at home mother but worked occasionally with her husband at John’s Dental Lab in Terre Haute. She was a member of the Cloverland Gospel Church. She enjoyed camping at Raccoon State Park with her husband and collecting bears.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years; two sisters, Doris Dickison and Margaret Baker; and a brother, Donald Reedy, all of Terre Haute.

She is survived by a sister, Hazel Rooksberry, of Terre Haute; 3 children: Linda (Dave) Moody of Westfield, IN; Donna Atkinson of Greencastle, IN; and Donald McMillin Jr.; 9 Grandchildren: David (Lydia) Moody Jr. Noblesville, IN; Darrin Moody Brazil, IN; Dan Moody Shelbyville, IN; Darla (Jerad) Dalton Carmel, IN; Kim (Diego) Garcia Bloomington, IN; Tony Hart Greencastle, IN; Jason McMillin Brazil, IN; Jordan McMillin Brazil, IN; Abby McMillin Portage, IN; 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the government mandate private services will be held at French Funeral Home, in Brazil, Indiana with Pastor Scot Golembiecki officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
