VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Wednesday (4/15/20) afternoon Vermilion County Police were called to a semi crash that happened around 4:00 p.m. on SR 63 near the Dry Branch Bridge.

Police say that their investigation shows that 59-year-old Timothy Miles of Marshal, IL was traveling north bound on S.R. 63 when he went straight through the curve for an unknown reason and hit the bridge guard rail.

Miles was extracted from the vehicle and Life Lined to Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.

As of Thursday morning, Miles was listed in stable condition.

Miles told people that he does not remember any of it.

Miles had a load of wood products that shifted forward and covered the cab of the semi.

Equipment had to be brought in to remove the load from the cab so that first responders could get Miles out.
