Homeless Man Faces Charges After Friday Night Gun Fire

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A homeless man faces multiple charges after gunfire Friday night.

25 year old Phillip Foster Jr., was arrested after 10:00 p.m. on charges of arson, criminal recklessness, pointing a firearm and criminal mischief.

Police were called to 2300 block of Chase Street after Foster returned to a home where he had caused damage earlier in the evening.

Witnesses said Foster kicked and damaged a vehicle and pointed a shotgun at a neighbor who told Foster to stop kicking the vehicle.

He was later arrested near 23rd and Crawford streets.

Foster is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
