Emma Irene Raubuck, 96, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Union Hospital. She was born May 13, 1924 in West Terre Haute to George Dewey and Margaret (Horsely) Wyrick.
She was an extremely active member of the German Oberlander’s Club and St. Mark’s United Church of Christ. Emma was a wonderful cook and would always bake her son’s birthday cakes to take to work. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cared deeply for her family and friends. Emma will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Curtis Edward Raubuck; brother, Charles David Wyrick ; sister, Joan Auld; and daughter-in-law, Abby Raubuck.
Emma is survived by her two sons, David Raubuck and Daniel (Karen) Raubuck; grandchildren, Danielle Raubuck and William Dunn, Zachary (Caitlin) Raubuck, Andrew (Autumn) Raubuck, Sara (Jeremy) Cale; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Matthew, Marek, Miles Raubuck, Tristan Collester, Parker and Annabelle Cale; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and service will be private for Emma at Roselawn Funeral Home. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Due to COVID-19, social distancing practices are still in order. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net.
