Randall Lee “Randy” Edwards, 60, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed from this world to God’s waiting arms in September 28, 2020, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  Randy was born in Marion County, Indiana, on November 25, 1959 to Estel Jake Edwards and Jeanne Marie (Peeler) Edwards.  He is preceded in death by both parents, and his Uncle Jerry.  Randy worked at Coke for 31 years, had several other jobs and finally landed at Pepsi where he was a Technician.  His favorite thing to do there was tease Candy in HR about conspiracy theories.  Both companies will sorely miss having his genius in being able to fix almost anything as well as not having his crotchety old self there to pick on.  Randy had a great passion for Harley’s.  He would help anyone fix their’s for a nominal fee of for free.  He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back to help you out.  Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and yet would find a little lose kitten or dog in the woods and bring it home to care for it.  The great love of his life was his little dog Rat.  He wasn’t really very good at naming his pets! He was in Methodist for 29 days, I was with him 26 of those days.  My greatest joy was when he recognized me when he came out of his coma, gave me a goofy smile and mouthed “ I Love you.” Randy is survived by his beloved sister Lori Wenzel and brother in law Keith of Terre Haute, Indiana and his loving niece Nicki Conley and her significant other Mike of Paris, Illinois; and special family friend Pam Parker.
