
William E. “Bill” Grogan, 94, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday morning, October 13, 2021. He was a Tool and Dye Maker having retired from A.P. Machine & Tool, Inc. He was born August 5, 1927 in Brazil, IN to Joseph Grogan and Mary Young Grogan. His wife, Carmen Aileen Goodman Grogan, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, William E. “Ed”, Jr. and Jeri Grogan of Terre Haute; his daughter, Cathy Grogan of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, Scott Grogan (Angie) and Jennifer Fall (Eric); four grandchildren, Max Grogan, Katie Grogan, Kristi Fall and Danielle Fall; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by sisters, Lucille, Violet and 2 infant sisters; and a grandson, William E. “Bill” Grogan III.
Bill was a graduate of Brazil High School, attended Indiana State University, and served with U.S. Army Air Force in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of VFW Post #972, American Legion Post #104, Brazil Elks Club and Loyal Order of Moose. Bill was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, Zorah Shrine, Kerman Grotto and Swords of Bunker Hill. He loved being with his family and especially loved Ball Room dancing with his wife, Carmen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Rev. Dr. Clark Cowden officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 18th from 4:00-6:00 PM in the funeral home.
