Marvin J. Brown Jr., 57, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, on April 2, 2022.

Marvin was born on December 31, 1964, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Marvin and Deanna Ann Elizabeth (Verville) Brown. Marvin worked as a drywaller and carpenter for many years. He married Darcy Pletcher on August 13, 1983; she survives.

When he wasn’t working, Marvin enjoyed fishing and mowing lawns.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Deanna Brown.

Survivors include his wife Darcy Brown of Brazil; 4 children: Derinda Brown, Sarah Wright and husband Robert, Marvin Brown III, and Jacob Brown; grandchildren: Bradley Wright, Izaac Wright, Joseph Edward Brown Jr., Jeremiah James Brown, and Alexis Jo Brown; siblings: Chris Sikora and wife Vickie, Roger W. Brown, Gerald Brown and wife Heather, Diana Brown, and Joseph Brown as well as various other family members and friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home, in Brazil.
