WABASH VALLEY -Strong winds wreaked havoc with power lines and equipment in Indiana, according to Duke Energy.

In a statement on the company’s website Saturday morning, the company said,  “Yesterday’s storms and high winds caused a number of outages across the state, bringing down power lines & poles in many areas along the Ohio River. Clarksville, Corydon and nearby communities experienced the most extensive damage and will see a concentration of tree crews and line techs in those areas today.

We appreciate the patience all those still without power.”

As of 9 a.m. Saturday, there were just two outages in this area. Both appeared to be residences in Terre Haute.
