Richard “Rich” Lee Collins, 76, passed away May 31, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. Rich was born in Terre Haute on November 21, 1946 to Richard and Wilma (Osborn) Collins.

Rich graduated from Gerstmeyer Tech High School in Terre Haute in 1964. After graduation, Rich went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. On May 4, 1983 Rich married the love of his life, Phyllis. He worked as a dispatcher for many years at several different airlines. In his free time, Rich enjoyed golf, hunting, woodworking, fishing, and cooking.

Rich is preceded in death by his parents, one aunt, Maxine Osborn.

Rich is survived by his wife, Phyllis, four children, Tracie Watson, Richard Michael Collins (Gary), Mendy Treadway (Rex), Jonathan Hoffman (Hillary), many grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister, Melissa Walker, as well as many extended family members.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
