Betty L. Howard, 93, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away October 26, 2023. She was born on October
11, 1930, in Marshall, Illinois, to John Layton and Emma (Hollis) Layton. Betty worked as a Seamstress
for many years. She was an avid quilter as well. She is survived by her children Mike Howard (Barbara),
Stephen Howard (Sandy), Sharon Shull (Gary), and Terry Kremitzki; son in law Dennis Sharp;
grandchildren Keith, Curtis, Aaron, Craig, Chris, Scott, Angie, Kenny, and Hannah; 14 great grandchildren;
2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her
parents; husband Melvin Ray Howard; and daughter Linda Sharp. Funeral services are scheduled for
Wednesday, November 1, 2023, in Greiner Funeral Home, at 1:00p.m. A burial will follow in Roselawn
Memorial Park. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00a.m. until service
time. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
