
Reay A. Fagg, 68, of Praire Creek, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in his home with his wife and son by his side. Reay was born August 24, 1955 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Cecil and Margaret (Dudley) Fagg.
Reay graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 1973. He attended Indiana State University and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He previously had worked at Kroger for sixteen years, and was the material handler supervisor at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC-Terre Haute.He was an avid Notre Dame fan. One of his greatest joys in life was attending games his son. He was also a diehard Red Sox fan. He was always loyal and true to his teams. He loved to play golf and became a member of the Quail Creek Country Club in Robinson, Illinois. He made a lot of friends wherever he went and always had a smile on his face. He loved animals and could not stand to see any of them abused. He always told younger people, especially his grandson Collin to be considerate of others and to be careful with everything he does because someone is always watching. Reay loved to eat, his motto was “It’s all about the food.”Reay was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James Fagg and his wife Mary Ann and James Fagg. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Julia (Clark) Fagg; son Justin Fagg; grandson Collin Fagg; several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Nancy Fagg and his best friends, his Bassett Hound Jenny Lynn and his Chihuahua Emma Jean.
Memorial services for Reay will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
