Kay “Lorrie” Lorraine Batchelor, 59, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana on March 30, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born on April 9, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Jim Kelso and Beth Forst (Dunkin).
Lorrie was the “Jane of all Jacks Trades!” She had many jobs and titles throughout her life, but being a mother and wife was her favorite. Lorrie enjoyed being with her family, taking care of animals, working puzzles, and games. She attended Prairie City Methodist Church.
Lorrie was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; Kevin D. Batchelor, sons; Daniel (Sarah) Fogleman, Zachary (Taylor) Woodbury, Chris Batchelor, daughters; Jamie Czizek, Marybeth Batchelor, sisters; JoAnn McDonald, Christi York, Robin Burke, grandchildren; Annabelle, Trinity, Zoie, Johnathan, October, Sophia, Shelby-Jo, Daniel, Dominic, Ava, Riley, and one due in September.
Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 5:00 -7:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Combes Cemetery.
