VERMILION COUNTY, Ind – Vermillion County Police were called out around 10 p.m. Thursday evening to 285 N. Gilbert on the report of a Domestic Battery in Progress.

Officers say that when they arrived they found that 50-year-old Shane Link lived at the address in Clinton and had recently left the scene.

Police say that they interviewed and photographed the injuries of the female victim.

Other officers located and arrested Link who was found hiding just off the road at the intersection of Fulton and Second Street in Fairview Park.

Link was charged with Domestic Battery and is currently being held in the Vermillion County Jail on a $10,000.00 bond with 10% allowed.
