TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the closing of three downtown Terre Haute museums until at least March 30th.
The Vigo County Historical Society Museum, Swope Art Museum and the Terre Haute Children’s Museum will all be closed for the next two weeks.
The museums will reevaluate the situation as time goes by and make adjustments if necessary.
The Terre Haute Children’s Museum says it will postpone all birthday parties, field trips, special events, and facility rentals. As a way to provide some opportunities to play and learn at home, the Terre Haute Children’s Museum will be releasing daily STEM @ Home videos and activities over the coming weeks to engage with children and families. The information will be posted daily on their Facebook page.
