TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  –  A Terre Haute man who was to turn himself into federal prison officials Wednesday is now in custody.

Former Vigo County Schools employee Franklin Fennell was to report to the federal prison in Pekin, Illinois by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday but that facility is now for women only.

Online records show that Fennell is now at the federal prison in Marion, Illinois.

Fennell will serve a two-year sentence for stealing thousands from Vigo County Schools in a kickback scheme.
