Health Officials On The Look Out For West Nile In Our Area

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Health officials are on the look out for west Nile virus after the first human case of the disease was reported in southern Indiana’s Vanderburgh County last week.

Health officials say they’ve seen a spike in West Nile cases all across the Hoosier state and are reminding you to protect yourself from mosquitoes and to prevent their breeding by eliminating any standing water on your property.

Experts say they’re not expecting mosquito season to slow down anytime soon.
