Michael Wayne Bricker, 61 of Greencastle and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on September 10, 1959.

Michael was a correctional sergeant for the Putnamville Correctional Facility and was a member of the Cloverdale Masonic Lodge # 132 F & AM as well as the Knights of Columbus in Terre Haute.

Michael is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Pearson Bricker, whom he married August 6, 1999, and his cat Chloe. Also surviving are his parents, Carole Lawrence Rost and Harold “Bud” Rost, and four sons; Christopher Bricker, Joseph Bricker, Michael Bricker, and Derek Bricker. Also surviving are his siblings; Debbie Rost Bahr (Chuck), David Bricker, Steve Rost (Kelly), and Lorrie Rost Myers (Scott), as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Anna Smith Lawrence and Charles Lawrence, as well as a sister-in-law, Robin Bricker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 -3:00 PM at the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.
