Darla Joan Draper, 59, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at home, on October 6, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Darla was born on July 13, 1964, in Brazil, Indiana, the daughter of Russell Clyde and Marilyn (Williams) Draper. Darla graduated from Brazil High School and attended Ivy Tech. She worked at Standard Register until becoming ill and having to retire.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Marilyn Draper and a brother Steve Draper.

She is survived by her sons: Shawn Draper and wife Deanna and Eric Targett (Tiffany); grandchildren: Koty Draper, Dylan Targett, Devin Targett, and Desiree Targett; great-grandchildren: Reece Draper, Eamon Draper, and Remi Jayde Targett on the way; a sister Linda Archer (Dale), sister-in-law Mary Draper; her best friend Sally Batchelor; and her beloved dog Toby Tobias, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Graveside services will be at Calcutta Cemetery on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Marlin Betts officiating.

French Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
