Geneva Elaine Kirsch Herring, 75 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in her residence.  She was born in Danville, IL on December 24, 1947 to George Eberhardt Kirsch and Dorothy Rose Welker Kirsch.

Elaine was an engineering technician with Hurst Rosche Engineering and a member of Terre Haute Foursquare Gospel Church.

Elaine is survived by her husband James Herring whom she married August 2, 1972 and her two children, Brent Herring (Brandy) and Shannon Herring.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Taylor Kleinberg, Brittany Flora, Blaez Patterson, A’Landes Herring, Landen Herring, Alise Parker, and Elaineah Herring, and four great grandchildren; Tuff, Jordan, Kirsch, and Jase.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Jordan Kirsch Herring.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, In on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 5:00 PM, with Pastor Tom Smith officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM in the funeral home.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow services.
